Monday 4th May

St Neots Church

Leader: Dr Joanna Mattingley

We are repeating our visit of two years ago when a major traffic incident blocked the A38 and very few were able to turn up. So we are pleased that Dr Mattingley has offered to lead us again. She is an historian and former Adult Education Lecturer with the University of Exeter who has researched St Neots Church and its stained glass windows. Her articles on the subject are published in the Journal of the Royal Institution of Cornwall. She will introduce us to the historic features of the church. If time allows, we will also walk to the Holy Well. This is about ½ mile away and requires appropriate footwear. Limited parking by the church so please use the public car park over the bridge on the Bodmin side of the village. Meet at the church (GR SX 186 678) at 6.30pm
